New website, email, and a recipe!

Hello Educators!

It’s been awhile since our last communication as we have been in the process of revamping our website! It’s still Educator.Health but has a new look! We have a new tab entitled Free Resources where you will find past blog posts and newsletters, and upcoming free resources.

We also have a new email - info@educator.health. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or just to say hello!

With the warmer weather finally creeping in, we thought we would share a yummy and healthy cool treat! We love these for the health benefits of high protein Greek yogurt and dark chocolate! Remember, dark chocolate is one of the best and most powerful sources of antioxidants, so it’s a great-for-you-sweet-treat, in moderation of course ; )

The original recipe can be viewed here at Halfbakedharvest.com. Here is our adapted version:

  1. In a medium size bowl, mix 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, 2 teaspoons vanilla, and 1/2 cup of natural peanut butter.

  2. Slice 3 fairly ripe bananas into quarters (or slices if you prefer bigger chunks) and mix into the Greek yogurt mixture.

  3. Place parchment paper or plastic wrap on a plate.

  4. Create clusters by placing a spoonful of mixture on the plate.

  5. Freeze 1-2 hours.

  6. In a microwave safe bowl, melt 12 ounces of dark chocolate with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil in the microwave.

  7. Dip each cluster into the chocolate mixture and return to the plate. Sprinkle with some sea salt.

  8. Freeze for another 2 hours.

  9. When you are ready to enjoy your high protein and healthy treat, let it sit for 2-3 minutes before diving in!

    Be well,

    Julie and Laura
